Stacy's career took off at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where she spent nearly a decade as a Senior Forensic Examiner on the prestigious Computer Analysis Response Team. Her expertise in digital investigations, including intrusion, child exploitation, and terrorism, led her to be part of the team that secured the first conviction for material support of terrorism. Stacy's dedication extended to developing and delivering training for forensic examiners during her tenure at the FBI.
After her impressive stint at the FBI, Stacy moved on to General Electric, where she spent five years building the data loss prevention program. Collaborating with the insider threat team, she utilized innovative technology and procedures to safeguard valuable intellectual property for over 90,000 employees globally. Stacy's team also conducted swift investigations, ensuring efficient resolution.
Continuing her commitment to cybersecurity, Stacy was the Director of Cyber Security at Lincoln Electric System, protecting critical infrastructure and developing and implementing protection strategies for information technology and operational technology systems.
Stacy holds a distinguished list of certifications, including GSEC, GCCC, GCFE, ACE, and CFCE, and earned her Master of Science from Bellevue University in 2006. She is also a Licensed Private Detective in the state of Nebraska.
